Updated Ranch House & Cottage

This project involved the complete remodel and modernization of a classic California ranch home in San Luis Obispo, along with the addition of a detached Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU). The design approach respected the home’s original single-story character while updating both the interior and exterior with contemporary finishes, improved spatial flow, and enhanced natural light. Exterior upgrades refreshed the façade with new materials, windows, and architectural detailing, while the interior renovation reconfigured living spaces to support modern lifestyles. The new ADU was thoughtfully integrated on the property to complement the main residence, providing flexible living space for guests, extended family, or rental income.
